Billy SR
Basically just got myself this Cassette player with aux, and it comes with pre iso wiring, if I wanted this to fit, would it be a simple case of trimming the wires and fitting them to one half of an iso block like below?https://www.dropbox.com/s/5t46at3nba7saus/Photo%2026-06-2013%2011%2044%2059.jpg
TurboTobz
Yeah, as long as your car has an ISO connector aswell, if not you can hardwire it
Billy SR
It's gotta toyota to iso adaptor then an iso block, I'll take the risk, but this stereo has pink and brown wires. Does it even matter what colour they wire to?
TurboTobz
As long as you have a way of finding the acc wire, perm live, earth then you'll be fine
TurboTobz
Ignore the oddly coloured ones, if it has a wiring diagram on it do them once you get it running
Billy SR
Managed to get as fair as getting the radio to work, but not the cassette/aux, would they have anything to do with the RCA cables being an old system? But now I can't even get it to power on. Checked the radio fuse and it seems fine.
TurboTobz
Looks to be an inline fuse in the white cylindrical shaped bit of plastic on the red wire check that, check the starlets fuse system, get a multimeter check you have a 12+ constant a 12v switched and a ground. Cassette and aux should work when it's powered up...
