RobSR Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 but a afc adjusts the amount of fuel by adjusting maf signal to the ecu this wont stop fuel cut as far as I know bud could be wrong There is a way you can fit safc's to remove fuel cut, ive been out the ep scene for too long now i cant remember off the top of my head, but i did get it working. as I said it adjusts the air/fuel mixture by adjusting the maf signal to suit, it can be used on a starlet as cheap simple management but using a mechanical alternative like the FSE Fuel Pressure Regulator you already have works all the same imo I wouldn't use either id save and buy a plug & play ecu or piggyback ecu........................... but I have used the above method with no issues before Safc's arent brillant but they are still better than the fcd / fpr method as atleast you can trim fuelling through the rev range.
