Electric Window Problem

Recommended Posts

My passenger side window doesn't work, neither of the switch's work. Fortunately the window is up at the moment though!

I currently have the doorcard off looking for any obvious loose wires but can't see any, the motor doesn't make any noise when the switch is flicked either.

Is there anything else I can check for, I don't have a voltmeter unfortunately so can't test to see if there is power to the motor.

I know that one guy had a problem with his window at the scottish meet earlier this year, can't remember who it was though.

Any common problems that it could be?

first thing check for a power supply to the motor while pressin the switch, if u got power there then its more than likely the motor is fucked or theres a bad earth. if theres no power check the fuses, check the connection on the window switches on both sides. if thats all good its probably a faulty window switch.
