glanza sheehy Posted August 18, 2013 Share Posted August 18, 2013 still have this problem...diagnostic test brought up the idle control valve, there's two wires going onto it and i was missing one so put on the other one and still the revs bounce away.then cleaned the icv, it was fairly dirty due to the oil so gave that a clean and was perfect for 3/4 days until today.was on my way to the city and it was worse than ever, this time the engine managment light stayed on instead of flashing. my local mechanic said he doesnt know what it is and id be better off taking it to someone thats working on glanza's more often than he is. glanza sheehy Posted August 19, 2013 Author Share Posted August 19, 2013 runs ok when throttle body is covered is it? i was told on toc to do this just havent got around to it yet take the intake pipe of on the tb theres a hole in the bottom of it just before the flap cover it wit your finger adjust the idle screw acordinly if this works the wax thingy if fucked just get compound fill the hole and isseu gone forever Quote Link to post Share on other sites
