Jim*
not had the clutch in long maybe 4 months, its a spec clutch from tuning developments, my box seems to be on it's way out as I struggle with first second and third they can be very stiff to get out of gear. But when it's idleing if I flick the clutch out fast in neutral it starts making a knocking noise. but if I let it out slowly still in neutral it wont make the noise? somebody has said it could be the release bearing but it's barely done any miles. Car is running exhaust and front mount but stock boost pressure and I just don't believe that 140bhp has killed this clutch already. Anyone got any other ideas what it could be? daniel_g
Could try bleeding the clutch again, and maybe adjust it at the pedal to remove any free-play.
AdamWheatley
The release bearings from spec are noisy, I also had the same problem with gears after fitting it ended up taking the box off to see and it had spat the spring out, best bet is to ring mike up he's ALWAYS happy to help
Jim*
it was fitted around 4 months ago and has been fine for ages, but now it's really struggling! I can't put my foot down because changing gear becomes impossible!
