Forged 5E, Whats Needed

Alright chaps I've got a query for yous guys thats went forged 5e

I've currently got a 4e in the car just now and thinking about buying a forged 5e

My question is can i just put the 5e in with all the running gear of the 4e or do i need anything?

Its virtually the same.

Only things different would be the con rods, oil filter housing, thermostat housing, flywheel.

If youre buying an already forged 5E it should be sound to drop in, depending what flywheel its got.

Also the exhaust needs to be modded to meet up with the downpipe as the block is taller.

Where would you find a flywheel to fit?

Its up and running just now but the valve stems are shot so planning on buying a forged engine, theres a couple of forged 5e's for sale just now so il probably buy one, u got your car on the road?

You need the 3E flywheel which can bolt up to the 5E crank and take a turbo clutch.

What's needed as far a engine management? Do you need emb to run the engine?

Depends on what turbo your running and how far you wanna push it. It'll run fine on an EMB though, upto a point.
