stop them wheels spinning!

hey everyone! due to the sheer power of the EP82 theres a lot of wheel spin in first gear when the turbo kicks in

Whats the best way to minimise it.....was thinkin a big set of alloys n lowering but with big alloys comes lower 0 - 60 times? help lol

Anti-lift plates or an anti-lift kit makes a fair bit of difference. Stiffer and higher suspension at the rear also helps

a helical diff would be the utlimate mod, on an ep with light mods it should eliminate all torque stear

anit lift kit will help with lift

and an anti roll barr will help also with tramping at the back

alignment of tyres etc

the list goes on an on mate.

I had 17s on the old EP82 years back...worse mod I ever did. Might have looked good but fucked up the performance massively.

I only run 16s now to clear the brakes (might try and sneak some 15s on there next week)

Que?? You get axle tramp on driven wheels due to the harmonics of the suspension rates with the torque of the driven wheels...An Anti-roll bar a) won't really do anything to quell and you won't get tramp on un-driven wheels. Perhaps on a bumpy road as the Rear Beam suspension means stupid unsprung weight, but that's not what's known as "Axle Tramp"
