I don't know anything about turbos, could anyone help?

Hi there, I don't know anything about turbos.. at all... I'd like to know how much it would cost and the parts needed to place a turbo in my 1997 Starlet (EP91)

I know this subject probably has been covered several times, but still

Not very much mate try get a decent turbo from sumone on here and fit it yourself it's an easy job I'm sure there is a guide on here...a decent ct9 turbo will only cost you about 60 pound

Ah sorry I see on another post you have a n/a starlet a lot more time work and money to turbo that I thought you had a glanza and wer just needing to change the turbo my bad

Ricky at racetech is doing conversion packages soon but off the top of my head you will need:

Oil filter housing off a 4EFTE and the oil feed/return for the turbo

Manifold

Downpipe

Exhaust

Intercooler

Some form of ECU

Boost controller (I wouldn't want to rely solely on an actuator personally)

But there's the basics. Should be able to boost it with that... It's been covered a lot though bud you found nothing in the search?
