smithyithy
What's up players, just got my new Glanza home Mechanically she's sweet as a nut, but I've a couple of exterior issues I need some advice for.. Firstly, there's a piece of window seal missing, this causes wind noise as if the window were slightly open, and when we were driving home at 70 in the rain, it was letting a small amount in. In the pic, you can see where it ends, it restarts just below the wind deflector: Missing Window Seal by Smithyithy, on Flickr I can imagine changing the whole thing would be pain, so my idea is to get a spare seal from a car breaking, cut out the missing section, and fit it in the gap, with a small bit of sealant to join the edges, ideas? Secondly, the wind deflector is coming away on the driver's side: Loose Wind Deflector by Smithyithy, on Flickr An easier fix I'd assume.. It seems to be peeling away half way up, so I may remove it, clean off all the old sticky and reattach it, can anyone recommend the best stuff to use for this? Oh and here's the car, got a bit dirty in the rain driving home.. New Home by Smithyithy, on Flickr Cheers
jimmymac101
Personally I wouldn't pull the rest of the deflector off they are a pain to put on, lift out the part that is coming away and put some tiger seal or other sealant behind it to stick it back James Edited October 19, 2013 by jimmymac101
smithyithy
Okay, if that's what you suggest. When driving it flaps at the front near the mirror, so hopefully if I just re-stick that end it'll stay there.
