Chops
Hi all, quick question. My friend and i have been going through his car, making a list of all the things that its previous owner rinseep82 made a massive hash of. it has what i believe to be an hks ssq blow off valve (like this one http://www.id-workz.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=3_1118_1211_1236&products_id=306) which is held onto the intercooler piping with a circlip utalising port thingie. its rattly as fuck, completely loose, and i was wondering if its supposed to have a gasket of some sort under it to make a seal. any help is appreciated of course! EP91crazy
nope mines a nice tight seal :/
ROTABOOST
They have an O-ring seal under the valve. If you take the circlip out and pop the valve off there will be a groove/channel in the flange for the O-ring to sit. There should be no play, the valve should be nice and firm. by the way if it goes together easily it's more than likely not in right. They are a pig to get together lol!
