external wastegate boost problem

took my car out for a drive early and it only boosts at 0.35bar is it because the spring is knackered or is there a spring that only allows you to run 0.35bar, do i need a boost controller? or have a plumbed vac lines in wrong?

any suggestions would be great cheers

There might be a 0.35 ish spring in it, most people use quite a low spring and then step it up with an EBC. Or it could be all carbon'd up and sticking.

How old is the EWG ?

ah i see well ive ordered a boost controller so ill see if that helps if not ill clean it up and put a new spring in it

couldnt say how old it is didnt buy it new

Yep your running a 0.4 spring standard spring that comes with it lee don't use a boost controller as it only needs a spring if you do use abouts controller it was a waste of money buying the controled unspiked waste gate bud. Pm me might be able to source one for you but might take a week £30 eBay ones don't fit turbo smart ;(
