daniel_g
Right so on my build that im doing i am using the 85 inlet manifold which is the exact same as an FTE inlet except that there is no grey sensor (inlet temp i think ?) on it like there is on an FTE inlet. I know i have to use one because im using a GT ECU, but my questions are, can i put that sensor in the intercooler pipe just before the throttle body ? Or will this affect things when the throttle plate is closed ? Does it need to be in the front of the inlet like an FTE one ?Any help or opinions appreciated, i just cba drilling and tapping into the inlet lol.
yaristurbo
Lots of the mega squirt lads put it before throttle body can't see why not

AdamB
Aye it can go anywhere really, closer to the cylinder head is better though but the stock sensors are shit and very very slow response.
