coxycox Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 Im doing my manual conversion and its time to choose a clutch. I have been offered both of these second hand with very little mileage:...Exedy 3 paddle stage 3 or Spec 6 puc stage 3.. I had an exedy 3 paddle in my last glanza and really liked it. How does the Spec 6 compare to this? Any views are welcomed.. Quote
H_D Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 (edited) spec clutches are ment to be very user friendly for daily driving.I recently fitted a twinplate spec clutch to my mates 500bhp audi S3 and could not believe how soft the peddle felt Edited November 18, 2013 by H_D Quote
Jamie_VF22 Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 (edited) Spec 6 puc stage 3 is a great clutch mate very soft and easy to use in traffic ect ect I used to run one till i upgraded to the stage 4 spec clutch for my set up In terms of comparison the spec clutch will allow you to run power though it over the exedy 3 paddle clutch Edited November 18, 2013 by Jamie_VF22 Quote

coxycox Posted November 19, 2013 Author Posted November 19, 2013 How many miles can I expect to get out of the spec clutch? Quote
AdamB Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 Depends how you drive, won't last long at all if you slip the clutch all the time. Quote
