coxycox
Im doing my manual conversion and its time to choose a clutch. I have been offered both of these second hand with very little mileage:...Exedy 3 paddle stage 3 or Spec 6 puc stage 3.. I had an exedy 3 paddle in my last glanza and really liked it. How does the Spec 6 compare to this? Any views are welcomed..
H_D
spec clutches are ment to be very user friendly for daily driving.I recently fitted a twinplate spec clutch to my mates 500bhp audi S3 and could not believe how soft the peddle felt Edited November 18, 2013 by H_D
Jamie_VF22
Spec 6 puc stage 3 is a great clutch mate very soft and easy to use in traffic ect ect I used to run one till i upgraded to the stage 4 spec clutch for my set up In terms of comparison the spec clutch will allow you to run power though it over the exedy 3 paddle clutch Edited November 18, 2013 by Jamie_VF22

coxycox
How many miles can I expect to get out of the spec clutch?
AdamB
Depends how you drive, won't last long at all if you slip the clutch all the time.
