beefy
Oil level is fine just under the full and I was told it could be a relief valve? Oil level is fine just under the full and I was told it could be a relief valve?
AdamB
The relief valve just bleeds off excess pressure. It will be the pressure switch as YT said, its a common fault.

AdamB
Sort the OPS sooner rather than later, that's what nackered my first engine. The oil pressure switch has no bearing on the engine what so ever, the only thing it does is activate the low oil pressure light on the dash once a preset pressure is reached by the sensor.
