fitting intercooler

Ive got to be honest, the front brace bar on glanzas is only bolted on..So if you were to have an accident heavily, the bolts would just snap and the bar would give way.

If it was a seam welded support brace, i would definately have a problem removing it, but seeing as its not.. i dont see the harm tbh.

The bolts in mine were that rusty they almost snapped when i removed them any way lol

I'll have disagree with that unfortunately mate.

I have the offical documentation that says otherwise and some experience with the issue. The front bar is a major benefit in a frontal collision, it forms part of the safety struture of the EP91 chassis. Those chassis legs should stay together, it's a reinforced unit with strengthened bolts. Without it you lose strutural integraty and rigidity - the glanza in those pics suffered handling issues from the point of fitment until the point of impact.

Just speaking from personal experience.

Well i cant see how a brace that hasnt been seam welded would help, But you sound like you've read more documentation that me..So fair enough.

How are GT's braced jay?
