  1. i fitted one of the turbo's in question a couple of months ago. i have it running with no roblems what so ever. i would reccommend it to anybody. my '91 EP82 recently made a healthy and respectable 185.9hp. not bad for a H reg car, and considering there was a blow coming from the manifold and boost leak. i think its a bloody good result and it still has plenty more to give. my answer to the original quetion is... get one, its an amazing price for a hybrid turbo. and Enzo's costomer service it second to none.
  2. my '91 GT i paid £1550 totally stock apart from some dodgy wheels. about 60-70k miles that was two and a half years ago and ive spent alot on it since!
  3. took me about 4 hours start to finish. on my own. you will need to remove the crash bar if you are fitting it to a glanza
  4. i poped into the spar today to have a look. looks bloody lovely! may i ask.. you run 190bhp without any form of electronic engine management gizmos? and what pressure are you running?
  5. well what model starlet do you have? ep82,ep91? turbo? n/a?
  6. DONT run 1 bar without rrfpr. the stock ecu can only provide enough fuel for 12-13psi. running that pressure will lean out the engine big time!
  7. pm'd. can u wait till november, and i will give them to you at thatcham. to save postage?
  8. ive got some ep82 shocks i think they will fit but somebody better confirm that!
  9. you can buy drill bits that are designed to get snapped bolts out. but i dont think youd be able to get a drill in there!
  10. im buying one. getting it from enzo on this forum. i think hes still got some at a good price. give him a pm!
  11. yeah it was around that kind of price, cant remember. i have only set the pressure to just above stock, until i get my hybrid and stuff on. then i'l get it all set up on the rollers and see what shes running. yeah its changed a bit since you last saw me, now i have a front mount, rrfpr, and a stainless mani and hybrid on its way. i might have more stuff than that but i cant remember! i dont know what power its running now, its never been on the rollers.
  12. yeas i got the fes reg and the gauge from starletgtturbo.com. comes with everything needed, hoses, clips etc. get the sard one of you can afford it. yeah i am at college near that time, come see us, i will have my hybrid on by then!!!
  13. i dont think those ones are very good, better off getting an FSE one or even better, a SARD one from starletgtturbo.co.uk
  14. £49 is a good price, make sure its a starlet specific RRFPR because you will need the fuel rail adaptor. its easy enough to fit, i did mine in about half an hour, but make sure you know what you're doing because you will be dealing with FUEL lines. can be dangerous. then you really need to get it set up on a rolling road to get the most out of it, you dont want to be leaning out your engine my friend!

    JAM FCC

i thought tha jam and hks wire in differently, because they are different types. could be wrong though. on a side note: hows the exhaust system? made much of a difference? you could be hitting fuel cut with it, like i used to. remember! now you will see how annoying it is when people want to race you but you cant because it hits fuel cut all the time, and the other person thinks they have won! mentioning no names. ahem

    JAM FCC

if it was a HKS one i could help, but the JAM ones, i havnt got a clue never seen one!

    JAM FCC

thats starndard fuel cut mate. so its not wired in properly or not set up right, are the JAM ones adjustable?
  18. listen reeeeaally close and carefully while you press the button, if the motor is jammed you should hear a little click as it tries to move.
  19. a civic ESI is only sohc vtec, i wouldnt even count that as a full vtec!
  20. yeah but then theres that whole thing again. set up with the vacuum pipe on or off! i set mine to 50psi with the pipe off to be on the safe side till i get to a rr. doesnt seem to be running very rich though, i dont get any smoke or flames or anything.
  21. yeah thats the same thing basically. so you could run more if you like, just need an rrfpr to run it safely
  22. well.. as u havnt got an FCD, you can ony run just below fuel cut, which ranges on the 4efte between 13-14psi. anything over that, u will need fcd and rrfpr.
  23. what boost are you going to run?
