dan-the-man
Noticed that the water temp has been taking a while to get to normal temp and the bottom rad hose is cold, so changed thermostat today and it's still the same, went for a 20 minute drive and it came up to temp, left it idling for another 10 minutes and the temp went down to about 1\4, and didn't rise. Bottom rad hose still cold.I have no idea what it could be. Do these cars normally take a while to get up to temp and the stat to open?

yaristurbo
Most of the shelf are 82 bud are the heaters hot and what's temp sensor wiring like?
dan-the-man
Heaters work fine, is the temp sensor wiring the one on the stat housing? If so it was all intact, but looked quite brittle

dan-the-man
Yeah, that's the one. It feels like it's probably corroded inside, didn't bend it too much because it felt like it would snap off
yaristurbo
Get one cut off a loom with length of wire and swap it just in case
