so looking into getting a new job but don't have a clue about self employment

do I need a accountant?

if not is it called self evaluating?

as you can see I haven't clue

Im self employed in the flooring insustry, i set up as a ltd company and keep my own books and have my accountant sort them out every year. She keeps me right and gets a new carpet for her services:D
