Another jdm inlet fitted...

Recommended Posts

B) Fitted it this afternoon hungover but wasnt too bad. The old one was a pain to get off but nothing i cant handle ha ha.

Well impressed with it though! The car itself is sooooooooooo much smoother and pulls right up the revs. Good investment! GO AND BUY ONE B)

Was gonna do a "how to" but couldnt find camera. But i'll be changing the cylinder head over in a couple of months and could do one then if people are still interested?

Cheers to enzo for sorting me out with it. Top bloke B)

A socket set, a couple of 12mm and 10mm spanners. Also i bought a new inlet gasket to save any leaks occuring later. It is pretty simple, just a bit fiddly.

I tried to take it off without taking the fuel moving the fuel rail but when I got it all undone it wouldnt lift out so just take the fuel rail off to start and save yourself alot of pissing about. The only mod is a longer bit of breather hose at the back (a very thin bit) and there was no where for the earth to go on the new inlet so i just bolted it to another one on the bulkhead. B)

PMSL @ rich. I was gonna paint mine before it went on but my rocker cover is polished so I left it. By the time JAE comes it'll be either all shiny or all paintee though B)

Took the car for a proper blast last night, pulls soooo much better in 2nd & 3rd, used to just bog down if you put it into second but it actually pulls now which is nice :)
