briggers Posted November 15, 2007 Share Posted November 15, 2007 if anyone has any ideas on this i will be so gratefull. when im coming out of a parking space so on full wheel lock it clicks on the front 2 wheels or one of them i dont know its like a bolt going round the wheel getting stuck. my mate said he had a suzuki swiftand it sounded like that and said it could be the cv joints. i dont have a clue. i hope its not expensive. its not only when parking its on 90 degree bends aswell. please help its starting to wind me up and slightly embarasing lol Quote Link to post Share on other sites

thunderpants Posted February 25, 2008 Share Posted February 25, 2008 yeah my car did this when i had the coilovers lowered too much. when i investigated it turned out the bottom of the coilover had tore the cv boot and the grease had all been thrown out. so new cv boot and a sachet of grease later the clicking noise is gone. Mine has the same sound oftent when cornering and allmost allways when parking... do you need to track the car after replacing. and what kind of tools do you need... in other words is it a DIY job og do i have to find my wallet and pay my mechanic to do it Quote Link to post Share on other sites
