Man-yoo Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Hi guys,I've got some Bc coilovers on my 91 V.Came across a problem yesterday when trying to adjust the ridiculous ride by the previous owner. There set to the hardest setting, god knows why. He's got a rear brace going across the rear which mounts just at the top of where the shocks sit and you adjust. The brace has somehow snapped one of the top adjustable parts. My old man seems to think if I take off the top swivel part, that you can adjust the pins inside the actual unit? Anyone experienced this before? Hope I don't have to buy a new set of coilovers! James Quote
morgey Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 The pin itselft is just an Allan key, undo it and you should be able to remove it and use an Allen key instead. Email bc and they might be able to get you a new one. Quote
Man-yoo Posted January 5, 2014 Author Posted January 5, 2014 According to a specialist I was at yesterday, they said BC don't do spares. And as I'm not the original buyer of them, I'd stand no chance. I'll email anyway and see what I get. But I'll try adjusting them with the Allen key instead. Quote
