I've been quoted £240 plus £100 for water pump & belt (This is me supplying the new gasket) by Tuning Developments. However, they are the opposite side of the country to myself and I do not want to drive the car 5miles in its current condition, let alone that distance!Can anyone suggest any specialists or reputable garages in the South East worth speaking to that won't charge me an arm & a leg?James Quote

Chris_GlanzaV98 Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 Give it a bash yourself mate its no the hardest job i tried it and done it no bother and im not the best with engines by anymeans, there is a tutorial over on tggt just follow that pop the new gasket on and go in reverse lay the parts out in order they come off Quote
rmsnoel Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 Just remember to put the serice bolt in the cog on the inlet cam before you take it out. Thats mechanic speak for screw one of those black bolts into the hole on the cog bit or it will spring free and give u knocking noise, again its in the how to on tgtt Quote
