Can someone post a picture, or explain how i can find out if i have one on my car? (Before someone smart says break the law, im okay thanks)



I'm fairly sure i DONT. But, before i get it mapped, im pretty sure i would need one to derestrict it.



Someone correct me if im wrong?

It's reading in Kilo's i know that for sure. This means its not gone one?

Doesn't sound like it has mate. It's just a metal piece that fits in where your speedo cable screws into the gearbox. It changes the tension of the cable, so if before your speedo said you were going 100kmh (62mph), you'd now actually be doing 100mph.

I'm not sure how it affects the odometer, but I'd guess it changes that too, ie. if your car has done 50,000km, it will now start adding miles, meaning your odometer will go up slower.

I made a note of my odometer reading before fitting the converter, if I sell the car in the future and the buyer wants to question and work out the exact mileage it's up to them, I don't see it as an issue on cars like this..

My bike is a 1990 Jap import, the clock reads around 50,000, which could be any mix of km's and miles..
