Skimmy237
How do I do this ? I'm thinking I need a subframe then just bolt my side mounts to that ? And just have it non moving ? If someone has any pictures etc that would be a great help ? If anyone has a track glanza or anything ?
Rob Scott
either bolt the side mounts directly to the floor,Or, weld in some box section to the sills and transmission tunnel, then mount the side mounts to those.
TimD
I wouldn't recommend bolting directly to the floor, certainly not without sufficient strengthening, it's only single skin, any large impact will easily rip it straight out! If it's a road car find some starlet subframes, if it's not then fit these.. http://cbradleymotorsport.co.uk/fabrication/repair-panels/weld-in-seat-rail-mounting-kit.html

Liam_D
Mines a fixed recaro SPG and it's got a Bride subframe to bolt it to the floor of the car and then had some custom side mounts to mount the seat to the subframe. Looks like this
