Hello lads, as you know I'm building my car been trying to fire it up today and when I go to turn it over all that happens is a one click from the starter motor? Any ideas?

Negative on back of the inlet mani? Negative to body /body to engine ok? Dead battery if all negatives are all good

Am I missing something then because all I have going to the starter motor is the plug and the terminal connection?

Is it a new starter mate? if its a old one the solenoid may be knackered too, since it only clicks once, usually they click a few times if it's just dead battery/ loose negative

Dunno mate not my engine lol. I think theres 5 off the top of my head.

You sure the starter has a good earth? Checked battery voltage? Sometimes using battery pack can kill a battery. So worth checking with a multimeter.
