Mel85
hi guys, car currently has no battery tray, and an oversized battery. can anyone quickly tell me what size the oem original tray is? then i can check if this battery fill fit an oem tray, or if i need to source a universal one. my battery size is 240mm x 175mm Edited January 15, 2014 by Mel85
AdamB
The battery tray is integrated as apart of the engine mount, so unless someone has cut it out and welded a plate back over it it should still be there. Unless your on about a relocation battery to the boot?
Mel85
hi there, the battery tray is in 2 sections. i've got the lower part which is part of the engine mount. then the flat tray fixes to this. its the tray i'm missing. 74411A is missing upwards.
AdamB
Not worth trying to find one off a breaker? Possibly even the scrap yard, I guess EP82, EP91, and N/A's are all going to be the same.

Mel85
although its from a KP, the carrier section is pretty much the same. i'm staring at it right now even has the same recess and 2 main holes through it. i've ordered a 11"x7" universal jobby. thats 1 1/2" longer than i need, but i can always break out the angle grinder. made a template the same size, seems to fit ok.
