bajansuperman
it was brought to my attention that my car was surging off throttle (chatter from bov) so did some reading on some forums which say's it's bad and shortens the life of the turbo cause the bov isn't getting rid of the pressure efficiently, when others are saying it is harmless. Mikeyallgood85
It's called compression surge and in the long run can cause problems for some, the excess air in the system travels back out the turbo causing the (chatter) turbo to stall witch is bad! What bov are you running?
bajansuperman
it's and ebay knock off, some told me that they had 15psi springs in them and that i should try raising boost to see if it goes away first before changing it
bajansuperman
saw a vid of @socks car chatter at low rpm but not in high which is the way it should be?>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o84WSKgRjXs Edited March 5, 2014 by bajansuperman
seab
It's compressor stall not surge. Surge is completely different. It's the noise of the air rushin back through the comp side. The turbo is not in surge.
