Hi guys, I only ever seem to post if something's wrong 😁

Since I bought the GT (aka project puddle jumper) the idle has been really high, on cold it idles at 1800-2000 rpm, warm she idles at 1200-1400! I've swapped out the idle speed control valve, no change, any ideas??

Cheers

The idle screw is screwed all the way in and fitting the new valve hasn't helped, does it need to be in diagnostic mode when this is done? If so how do I put it in diagnostic mode??

And I can check for vacuume leak with easy start?? Or is there another way??

Ok, so I pulled off the tmic and stuck my finger over the lil hole by the tb butterfly and the engine cut out! Adjusted the idle screw up and repeated and she idled perfect!! Guessing I need to replace the tb??

Cold start thermostat is located under the tb It has two coolant lines and two vac. 1 coolant line from back of engine where water pump main pipe is and the other should go into the engine below tb if this is not connected properly it will causd high idle.

Checked all the pipes and they are all good!! Guess it's a throttle body replacement to try now!! Unless there's any other suggestions??
