mikey4410
basic thing to do would be to do a diagnostics on the car and then see what the problem is. then sort it.my guess is either knock or possibly fuel cut. let us know

seab
Paper clip test? Bridge E1 and TE1?
mech5107
You won't find any "real" diagnostic tool for those engines. They have a very special protocol...
brendonware
Paper clip test FTW! Like Seab said "Paper clip test? Bridge E1 and TE1?" and turn the ignition on and count how many flashes the engine management light gives off, it will be something like 2 flashes then a short pause then like 1 flash, which would mean error code 21! mm2101
mine done this, turned the boost down and it never done it since! i think your right on the line of hitting the fuel cut so it throws the warning light up!
DRiiFTiE
I will give this a try thanks for the help Yeah try the paper clip test or with a simple wire strip both ends and plug each end into E1 & TE1, also bud the problem sounds like fuel cut.. does the car start to judder at all when reaching boost/the light appears on dash?
