sosolid Posted March 14, 2014 Share Posted March 14, 2014 I noticed blue smoke now and again. on start up or after long periods in traffic. i know its the seals. has anyone changed them and how long and how much isit to get changed.? turbo Grant Posted March 14, 2014 Share Posted March 14, 2014 You can change them without removing the head. But you want some one who knows what they are doing. If they drop a valve inside the cylinder the head will have to come off regardless. To do it without removing the head the engine has to be locked at tdc then compressed air down the spark plug hole.
