panda bear blur Posted March 19, 2014 Share Posted March 19, 2014 Just wondering how heavy the 4efe gearbox/bell housing is in terms of lifting, as I'm planning on changing the clutch by myself. The only means I have to manoeuvre it would be to 'benchpress' it back in, and of course, initially out. How feasible is it? Never replaced a clutch before. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

It's about 30kgs so not impossible to do on your own but sometimes they just don't want to go on so if you have someone above to support it, it gives you a chance to readjust and take a second go at things without having to remove it every time.
