Is the rubber cover around the piston split if not have got the right wind back tool?, because I've had rear caliper problems but they've never seized on me, its always been sliders, stupid question bt handbrake is down because that caught me out lol

If you've tried winding the piston back in and it won't budge its more than likely seized.



I've had to replace both mine at the rear due to that very problem.

Yes mate the handbrake is down. The rubber is a bit perished. I'm a fitter by trade but only have the wind back tool that turns clockwise. Looks like gonna have to replace the fookers as really can't be arsed rebuilding them
