euanTbone96
Hi, when i start my glanza up from cold it will idle about 2000 RPM then drop slightly to 1800 RPM when warm. I'm guessing this is far to high and its quite loud idling that high! any ideas why this is happening and any way to reduce idle speed? Thanks

mech5107
Isn't your rpm hunting when warm? If not check that the throttle is all the way closed
euanTbone96
where would i search for vacuum leak ?
mikey4410
well a vaccum leak also equals a boost leak dude alot of the time. you can use a fairy liquid solution in a spray bottle over joins, vaccum hoses, pipework etc after pressurising the intercooler system.a way u could do this is maybe use the dump valve hose and connect up an air compresser of sum sortjust dont soak ure engine bay to much and get the water in places it shouldnt be . Turbo Goose
I had a vac leak on mine when it went to race tech. Ricky changed the pipe for me and advised I changed the rest as if yours still has originals then they are at least 16 years old!! Your vac pipes arw the little ones that come out of the inlet manifold. Vac pipe is cheap so worth changing as when Ricky changed mine it added 10, yes 10bhp!!Dan
