Hellllo everyone and anyone who was or is interested in what happened and the direction the car went in the end. I will take time this weekend to get as many photos together and all the information I can remember and continued this build thread. It’s still on going, cars fully mapped now and running but as you all know it never ends. Currently changing all hoses on the car and tidying the engine bay, will get photos up and a time line of events which have happened over the past 2 years. One thing I would recommend is if your going to use harnesses then have a cage fitted with a harness bar for the harnesses to fit correctly. If not using a cage go back to the normal seat belts. Good luck very clean looking motor.

Deal on both doors and front bumper as it is with canards and front lip? Also interested in the locking system as i assume its on a remote button. Let me know when you can. Cheers.

Matt yes it is cheaper to buy a forged starlet but sometimes you cant trust the people you buy off. I know all the work carried out and all parts put on etc i know exactly whats been done alot of the cost is from new parts not just the engine build although its still on the high side cost wise. when you start adding together fuel turbo set ups, clutches, exhaust systems it all adds up in the end. Like i said the cars been there 16 months its taken 12 months of that to do the ECU work......

My car is the one thats been there for 16months and another guys glanza from kent has been there for over 2 years, another guy i spoke too who only just got his car back after a year said he had a hard time contacting him etc. The communication is poor and his hard to get hold of probably knowing we are so far from him puts us at the back of the que but after both bills coming close to 20k he should think where his priorities lie.

We shall start from the beginning when I sent my car there picked up due to wiring issues within the car transporter to Ricky. All my own parts supplied (pistons, Rods, wastegate, springs etc etc) build was going ok but more and more added onto the bill as it does with a build then came communication issues which tbh from some one your paying 10k for work on your car were appalling. Ecu supplied by some one on forums wouldn't work on car (although this may just be more lies within lies to gain more work who knows) decided to go DTA stand alone which has now taken 16months to install and still

Don't get me started with my build. Sounds like it's time to contact trading standards my cars been there for over 2 years and still excuse after excuse on the work being finished I will be going to collect it on a transporter if it's not ready this weekend I wouldn't know where to start with my build and someone else in the same position with there car being there for 3 years!!

Update. Fast road Rear brake set up (Id Workz), BC coil-overs, Whiteline FARB and Panhard Rod and Willwood 4 pots bought ready for when the cars back. Also have a GI bonnet waiting to be picked up on the journey back with the car.

Would these wheels fit Willwoods under without any spacers? Do you know anyone who has these wheels on there car with a bigger brake set up?

Is there a Rear big brake set up available Even just for looks as i will be upgrading my fronts to wilwoods is there anyway of upgrading the rears I know most of the braking is done at the front end but its more for the look of the car matching etc.

Quick update on the thread, cars still at Racetech After problems with the Power FC So had to rethink the engine management system and decided after research and talks with others that a DTA would be beneficial in the long run With K20 Coil packs and uprated sensors etc. I went for the DTA60 Pro as it has a few extras that the 40 didnt like anti lag and Launch control. Ive also managed to source a GI bonnet and a TOMS adjustable spoiler. Im also looking at updating the coilovers to BC's and waiting to find out if WMS are going to start supplying the 4pot Brake set up, if not i will be looking
