Where is the best place to run the wire from the lamda to the gauge through? And is it a dash out job?

Depending how thick the wire is / big the multi plug is you can route it through the throttle cable grommet in the bulkhead just behind to the left of the inlet mani!! Dash can stay where it is

i run mine through a rubber "boot" behind the glove box area on the firewall. It has some other electrical wires running through it into the engine bay

Same wideband as mine. I ran my cables through the old a/c grommet as I removed the evaporator from behind the glovebox. Don't forget to set the wideband up first before plugging in the sensor. ;)
