3sgte into a mk1

Been done twice...

The issues I see, when I looking into it is:

Engine is a lot taller. Engine has to be mounted silly high or the sump is on the floor...

The front beam is not strong enough to mount the front engine mount too... So means new front end fabbing up!

You can get 400bhp for the same rough cost as converting. The 3SGTE is also prone for cracking the blocks too! Under tuned conditions...

Only way it would be worth it is forged 5sgte setup and go for 700-800bhp imo!
