Hey guys, just bought a Glanza that is misfiring when the turbo comes in. At first I thought it would have been, dizzy cap, cracked rotor arm or even leads, but then I had the car idling and opened the bonnet, I tried to move the arm on the actuator and it doesn't move at all. Could that be causing the car to misfire/lose power in boost?

Cheers.

Just sounds like ignition system needs re fleshing.

I.e new spark plugs

New dizzy

Rotor arm

Leads

And even try finding a good second hand ignition coil

I had a similar problem recently mine turned out to be the ignition coil, I replaced both ignition coil and king lead and now it's perfect. Prices are fairly cheap through Idworkz too.

Cheers Maddox and Liam, I've already ordered a dizzy cap and rotor arm, replaced the plugs and I will go to my local jap garage tomorrow and get an ignition coil and king lead.
