fiddlersport Posted May 13, 2014 Share Posted May 13, 2014 Hello folks can it be done ? basically i have a 5efhe engine which is going into my ep91 1.3 keeping it n/a for now (future turbo project maybe) i am pretty sure the the ecu in my car is the 3 plug since it is a ep91 the 5efhe loom is 2 plug and is a auto ecu do i use the full 5efhe loom and ecu or use the 4e ecu and what problems might i run into ? i know the exhaust will not fit due to the block is 10 mm longer and need modifying the 4e does not have aknock sensor i have been told what can be done ? thank you Quote Link to post Share on other sites
morgey Posted May 13, 2014 Share Posted May 13, 2014 Don't know about the rest of it but if you use the 5e ecu you will need to bridge the neutral start switch to allow the car to start. It's the 2 largest wires on the auto box plug Quote Link to post Share on other sites
