AndyT
I changed my gearbox oil yesterday, drained it with the 24mm bolt on the bottom of the box, and filled it through the 17mm bolt in the top of the box. I put in 3 litres.Today when i was under the car i noticed another 24mm bolt in the box, sort of towards the front of the car on the side of the box. Is this the fill level bolt???Should i park the car on the flat and take that bolt out to let the excess drain? I dont want to have overfilled it and fucked seals etc Thanks ;)
Ivan
Yes, undo the top 24mm bolt and let everything drain otherwise the excess oil will bust your seals and possibly do more damage.Regards,Ivan
