I've not had problems but on TGTT you will find there are quite a few people that have had the same experience.

I was planning to get my FMIC from them as they are pretty cheap but i'd rather pay more and knowing im definately getting it than taking the risk and pay less.

Yeah, the H4 'Bi beam' will do Hi/Lo.

Normally there is an extra charge for the hi/lo HID bulbs but it doesn't seem so on that ebay advert (only had a quick read mind!)

Hmmm can u get pics of this HID kit Stu?

Images of the Bosch kit aren't so easy to get hold of! Some images are on the ebay link.

I have been told to be careful when buying HID kits as some of them can cause havok with the cars electrics. The only one I've heard nothing but positive words on is the Bosch kit. It's the only one I'd get.

There are cheaper kits on ebay but for the money, the Bosch kit is still good value I think.

Yer, my mate who ownes a type r civic ep3 bought some HIDs from HK. He came back and put them in, the power was soooo emence that it killed the signal to the stereo and the radio in the workshop. :p

He had to drive home tho that night and he said the following day that he started to get a headache... whether its just psychological or it really did give him a headache im not sure, jus be careful. :)

My set of HIDs are XEON. They aren't bad, but i've found out that these HIDs don't work very well with toyotas and subarus as thier electricals are different (apparently..didn't bother looking into it tho.) So the only way i managed to get the high beam was to tamper with the relay and now..

My NORMAL lights are my HIGH BEAMS

My HIGH BEAMS are my NORMAL lights

and when the lights are off and i want to flash, it just turns the lights on, until i let go :(:( Its all set up and works fine now, these settings aren't that much different to the normal, jus backwards... but i can't be bothered to change them.

Anyone else heard this story?

Ooo, aswell as, the amount of K i.e. 6000k etc. may not be the same for all brands or companies... when they should be, but some are bluer than others etc. Jus check what you're buying. Lol, anyways, good luck with finding your HIDs!

They're not all like this, we're jus unlucky i guess lol.
