Jordk Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 As you can see in the pic below there is a water way in the inlet of the cylinder head that is leaking. The gasket only covers a bit of it so when the manifold is bolted up it doesn't sit true. Anyone ever had this issue? Any ideas on how to resolve it?(The squarish hole with water leaking out) Quote
richardc9052 Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 You don't have the right inlet mani fitted. The right one has an extra piece to cover it up and the correct gasket covers it too. Looks like your running a custom stainless mani.. Get someone to weld the extra bit on as required and buy the proper gasket Quote
Jordk Posted June 8, 2014 Author Posted June 8, 2014 The mani does cover it but the gasket only sits over half of it so it won't seal right. Where can I get the right gasket I don't seem to get an option. Quote
Ryan_EP82 GT Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 I had this problem when rebuilding my engine because of the gaskets. I blocked mine with silicone tho, no leaks 10k miles later Quote
richardc9052 Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 I might have a used gasket here.. if i can find it you can have it for postage cost Quote
