GT_Neil
this has been answered before i remember, but has it changed? i was under the impression imports, such as starlet GT's and Glanza only would have idle emissions tests? is that not true? 3 garages told me today they must have normal emissions tests like all other cars.... scutch0
this still seems to be a bit of a grey area buddy, mine needed a cat to pass mot, as it had been registered as needing a cat according to dvla.i'd like to know if this loophole still exists too.
StarletRick
i had my MOT the other day. and this is how it goes....it failed the initial test with flying colours then it goes to a broader "as much as is allowed" test. this is generic and doesnt matter regardless of make or model. i JUST passed, and this was with me under the bonnet fiddling with the fuel regulator to get the settings right before we tested it. was not a fun thing to do. took about half an hour to get it ok for the test. and the car was NOT happy about it.
