TimD Posted June 25, 2014 Share Posted June 25, 2014 Noticed there is some play in the gear stick. It's actually the rod which goes through the ball that sits in the plastic shifter assembly. My car has a short shifter fitted, I've had a look at the standard one I have on the shelf and there isn't any play there at all. But I can't see how I'd tighten it up on the short shifter. Has something broken, or does it need tightening some how? Any suggestions? Quote Link to post Share on other sites
