rwdrev Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 just had a call from the engineering shop to say the ross gudgeon pin dont fit in the scat rods. does the little end need a hone out so the pin just slips in, or does it need warming up and pressing in? need help asap, cheers Quote
turbo Grant Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Scat rods only fit wossner pistons as it's a floating gudgeon pin. Ross pistons are press in like stock rods and pauter rods Quote
rwdrev Posted June 27, 2014 Author Posted June 27, 2014 so i need new rods, as the block is bored, or will i get away with new pistons? Quote

rwdrev Posted June 27, 2014 Author Posted June 27, 2014 think i got the wrong type here then. i know they dont slip in, but by the sounds of it they are too big to even press in. il get more info when i go pick the block up Quote
