Disconnecting rear calipers

Hi all,

just trying to remove my rear calipers off my Glanza as the rear sliders have seized, how do I go about disconnecting them just disconnecting the brake line and then where do I disconnect the parking brake? Do I also have to clamp the hoses or anything?

Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers

Yes disconnect the flex pipe and clamp if poss, and were the handbrake cable goes on the caliper there's a little clip that goes through a pin remove both of them then just unbolt. That is how they are on my ep82 hope that will help you

Also would it be adequate just to block the pipes instead?

Jam the brake pedal down - against the seat with a piece of wood to stop leaks. ;)
