aaddzz123 Posted July 14, 2014 Share Posted July 14, 2014 I have optional box speakers on my mk1 shelf and in comparison to my mk3 shelf that had 6x9s, they sound pretty shit lol! Because the box is small (even though they take up half the shelf) they just don't have the enclosure for any deep notes or bass so sound really tinny where as the 6x9s used the boot as a box and they actually sounded really really good... I'd say save your money and buy another parcel shelf. Funny enough my mk3 one is for sale haha Quote Link to post Share on other sites
