Pete_A
hello all ive recently purchased this lil beasty mostly for commuting, im am surprised (was gona say amazed, but that would be an exaggeration) at its pockeyness (nippy) economy (40+ mpg) build quality and rust free-ness i found some cheap 14`s for it as the skinny 13`s scared the 5h1t outta me at the age of 34 this is my first injection car! i need some mods though as its as boring as fook to drive and need to attempt to use a little more petrol, so some q`s which corrolla do i need to get the intake manifold from? and is that all i need? no injectors or ...??? its a 96` and im sure ive read somewhere that an ecu from a slightly earlier model will be better, maybe fuelling or something?? i also would like to lower it,tempted to get the angle grinder out, but maybe someone has some old lowering springs knocking around? my only mod so far is a component set in the spare wheel, some ghetto engineering that my gay ass laptop wont upload a pic of ive more q`s but, well i cant remember oh, ive been in vans with more comfortable bench seats, fook there terrible, are there any easy swaps to be had? im concerned i may put a hip out if i corner too quickits only done 78000,and had the cambelt changed 10 years ago at 33000, is another change due? any why is it so expensive? my local garage want £225 to do it!! im incredibly tight so any insurance friendly modification suggestions welcome

Dale SR
welcome to the site. your wee starlet looks really good. they are very nippy for what they are great wee cars. ye standerd seats dont do the back much good. glanza seats fit straight in think the GT seats need a little modin but personley GT seats are 100x better alot more comfy and better quality imo. Think ebay do a few cheep springs and ye genuine parts arent cheep for the starlet.
