ryan22laird Posted August 2, 2014 Share Posted August 2, 2014 After buying a forged engine on this 3 month ago turns out it was fucked bottom end was knocking so a Stripped it Down a originally thought it was the big end bearings that had gone turns out it was the main bearings there was nothing left of them so Av started again the engines now at my local engineering garage getting a fresh rebuild it's been there 2 weeks now should have it back next week hopefully the spec is wiseco 74.5mm forged pistonsscat forged rods (block notched to fit them)ACL racing big ends, mains & thrust bearingsAthenna 1.2mm metal headgasket (cruise 1.2mm re-usable headgasket in boot of car).Valve springsValves lapped inuprated valve stem seals Magnecor ignition leadsNGK iridium heat range 8 spark plugsFull engine cleand & painted Crank reground oversized bearings That's the full spec engine wise Just need to run it in when a get it back what sort of boost & power can a run this at safe ?
