Ethanep82 Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 (edited) Am I right in thinking the early spec ST185's are the common twin pot conversion? Same as MR2 as well? Edited August 28, 2014 by Ethanep82 Quote
Turbo Goose Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 I opted for the st185 single pots as they apparently give more stopping power. Both tiwns and singles are bolt on its just the discs that vary Quote
funny onion Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 yeah st185 are single pot, the st205 are the twin pot ones but i may be wrong sam has the single pot ones on his gt and limited massively the wheels he can use. I don't think it stops much better than mine on drilled discs and braided lines all round tbh... Quote
Ethanep82 Posted March 6, 2015 Author Posted March 6, 2015 I'm gonna bump my old post, I need new disc's, anyone know what discs they are haha? Quote
Amjad Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 Yes, early are twins. Late are single. ST205 are 4's Quote
Flynn Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 I'm running single pot ST185's and they are an amazing upgrade and H&R spacers sort any clearance issues. Are the disks machined Astra ones? That doesn't sound rite but I bought mine ready to go. There was a lad on here selling kits not long back I think. Quote

Ryan_EP82 GT Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 (edited) Russ78 is the man for brakes! I got celica calipers off him and he told me to get astra g discs machined and he knows what machining is required. Top man! Edited March 11, 2015 by Ryan_EP82 GT Quote
